Using Structural Integration Therapy, Victoria focuses not just on the muscles, but also on their protective layer the “fascia.” This method aims to lengthen and reposition the fascia to allow the muscles to move more efficiently. Daily stresses to the muscular system such as gravity, physical activity, or injury contribute to pulling the body out of alignment, creating stiffness and discomfort. With Structural Integration Therapy, the body becomes aligned, more balanced, and more flexible and coordinated, improving both daily and athletic performance. 10 sessions.

OPTION 1: Traditional Deep Tissue.  An invigorating massage for those who prefer deep muscular manipulation. This style of massage relieves tightened muscles from sports, chronic stress and fatigue.

OPTION 2: Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy™ or Deep Feet This is the original western barefoot bar technique where continuous deep pressure is delivered with feet instead of hands. The foot is broad and makes the compression smooth and sumptuous not bony or prodding like using an elbow or a thumb. This is NOT downward pressure, there are bars installed in the ceiling to allow for smooth gliding strokes while keeping the client safety and comfort. Only trained and certified AOBT therapists can offer “Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy®”

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. The heat is both deeply relaxing and helps tight muscles release.

Aromatherapy is the use of plant oils called essential oils, for improved physical, mental and emotional well being. Essential oils can provide both psychological and physical benefits when used correctly. Essential oils can be used on their own or mixed with carrier oils or massage lotions. For aromatherapy it is vital that only pure essential oils are used. Synthetic, perfume grade products lack the necessary level of beneficial constituents and offer little or no positive effect, pure essential oils can aid in state of mind or improve your physical well being.  Depending on the specific constituents of the oil, you may begin to feel the release of negative emotions, the soothing of undue muscle tension, or experience the cleansing effect of the oils as your body eliminates toxins. There are two ways to use essential oils for aromatherapy: inhalation and topical application.

Another of Victoria’s options available to clients is Cranial Sacral Therapy, in which she focuses her healing hands on the gentle fluids cradling the skull and spine. This type of therapy seeks to ease the nerves in these areas, allowing relief from migraines, neck and back pain, and more.

The lymphatic system is vital to the inner cleansing of the body. When the lymph passages are clogged, muscle soreness and bodily aches and pains can result. Lymphatic massage can stimulate the filtering action of the system, thus cleansing the body to eliminate toxins and ease muscle soreness.
